I think the classic should be earlier rather than later look how the weather has been the last few years.  Fishing when the temp. is 30-50 degrees isnt much fun especially when the winds are wipping and the rain are more frequent.  If everyone has four tournaments they could be finished by end of august and we could fish the classic in sept.

Julie,

lots of ideas being tossed around.  Just wanted to say I thought things went pretty darn well this year considering the economic times.  Nice work.

Buzzbaitray...I respectfully disagree on Geneva.  Gotta keep this one going!

1. It is some of the best fishing anywhere - especially in the spring/summer.

2. On the water weigh ins are not perfect - but are actually faster, better for the fish and honestly better than any weigh ins on land I've ever seen at LG.

3. The wealthy folks living in and around LG do not own the water.  We have found a great way around their selfish tendencies.  Don't let them affect you.  If you don't want to spend hard earned dollars there - stay and eat dinner in antioch, fox lake or any of the other towns that do support fishing and are within an easy morning drive of LG.

4. This circuit draws more boats than any in BBB hands down.  Ending it would be like taking your #1 selling product off the shelves.

Hope to see you at LG next year.

My 2 cents.

Any dates fine with me...just don't want to go to the river for the classic.  I thought green was nice.  We can't accomodate everyone here.  There are just too many tourneys out there.  We need to pick dates that steal the least participation from BBB.  Identify these and go from there.  I think WABTA should be considered.  I see a lot of names there that belong with us.

I've been trying to get a BBB schedule to work for the past several years and have been unable to do so.  The division i would like to fish most is the Shawano division with proposed dates of June 5th and 6th and August 7th and 8th.  Only problem with this is that your main competitor in central/northern wisconsin (US Anglers Choice Wisconsin Valley Division) is always in conflict.  This year their dates are:

May 9, June 6, June 20, July 11, July 25, August 8 and September 12.

Therefore, both shawano weekends result in a conflict with the USA Anglers division which has been averaging 25+ boats and growing.  I know for a fact that there are at least 5 teams that would fish the shawano BBB circuit if you picked two other weekends.  I do like having two tournaments per weekend to save on costs.  Just my two cents.

Perch, how do you know the AC schedule for 2010 already?  I have tried to get it and have been told it is not set yet?  I suppose you want BBB to make it work for you for you like AC always has in the past?  Can't have your cake and eat it too!
On a side note....I heard they added Shawano but cannot get confirmation (seems you have it confirmed), I hope they do get it added but rumour is teams are quitting because they are dropping some of the Wisconsin River Flowages.  Hope we can keep the average up there.
